Oh I have NO problem with them using a cell phone just as long as I can sue them under the same laws as I can sue a drunk driver. You want to use the phone let the person you hurt be able to take your life savings and future earnings just as if you are a drunk. I have no problem at all with them using a phone as long as that law is in place. NO tort protection for them.

No, I don't agree. If cells are banned, so should radios, food, drink, cigarettes, etc. ANYTHING has the potential to distract a driver. Cell phones are no worse than any other thing a driver does when driving.

I have been trying to make this a law for years. I even wrote to my congresswoman telling her I would be happy to help write the bill. NO ONE should EVER use a cell phone while driving UNLESS IT'S AN EMERGENCY and then pull over to make the call. Too much death and destruction from use of cell phones. Most people can't walk and chew at the same time, how can they possibly talk and drive at the same time??
